Tips and best practices

  • If you need to search for the same indicators ofter, it is recommended to create a custom tab for this.
  • The requirement search supports partial matches. For example, searching for EN 60335-2-33 will also return results such as EN 60335-2-33:2013 and EN 60335-2-33:2016.
  • Use quotes (“ ”) around values that contain spaces, for example “tag:"Winter 2021" ". If the value consists of a single word, you don’t need to use quotes.
  • The wildcard (*) is useful when you only know part of an article number, for example “article:*6” returns technical files where the article number ends with “6”.
  • You can combine multiple indicator in a single search by separating them with spaces.

Troubleshooting

  • No results found?
Check that you are using the correct indicator and spelling. Make sure the value exists in your technical files and there is no space after the colon (:).
  • Wildcard not working?

The wildcard (*) works only with the “Article” indicator.
