No surprises in version 5 of the EUDR FAQ

Today the European Commission published version 5 of its Frequently Asked Questions on the Implementation of the EU Deforestation Regulation.

An updated FAQ was necessary because the previous version did not address the latest EUDR amendments.

The updated FAQ now includes the changes introduced by the EUDR amendments of December 2025, for example regarding suppliers role, and Due Diligence Statement and Simplified Declaration submissions.

The FAQ does not contain any surprises or new insights for those that are familiar with the latest amendments.

Soon there is another update

There are more changes scheduled for April May 2026 after the Commission has completed its simplification review. Access to the EUDR Information System (TRACES) will soon be restored too, with access to new functions that reflect the current rules.

FAQ are available in ProductIP

The link to the FAQ on the EU website was active for a short time only. ProductIP users have access to the FAQ at any time, and in the right place: their technical files with EUDR requirements.
